Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by rinsing and dicing your boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. If using flour, dredge the chicken pieces lightly in it.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add the chicken. Sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, light soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and sliced onion. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Transfer the chicken to your slow cooker and pour the prepared sauce over it, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Set the slow cooker to high and cover. Cook for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. Once cooking is complete, remove the chicken and place it on a serving platter. Serve hot with jasmine rice or roasted vegetables.
