Instructions
  1. Thinly slice your flank steak against the grain. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Marinate for at least 10-30 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Add the marinated steak in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and toss in the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the steak to the skillet with sautéed vegetables. Pour in oyster sauce and add black pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat. Serve hot alongside steamed jasmine rice or noodles.
