  2. Add minced garlic and finely chopped shallot to the skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the shallot is translucent and tender.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if desired) into the sauce, stirring well.
