Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic, stirring constantly until fragrant and lightly golden, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add your choice of sliced mushrooms. Sauté them for about 3-4 minutes until they turn golden brown and release their savory aroma.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and a splash of vinegar. Stir well and let simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Introduce the ramen noodles and chopped broccoli to your pot. Pour in water according to the package instructions, usually around 3-4 cups.
  5. Once cooked, fold in the sliced spring onion greens and stir for an additional minute. Serve hot, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
