Ingredients

For the Clusters
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks Crunchy base for the perfect cluster structure; feel free to use broken pieces for added texture.
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Binds everything together nicely; substitute with almond or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Sweetens your clusters while helping them hold together; ensure the right ratio to avoid stickiness.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional but adds a delightful sweetness and visual flair; use dark or milk chocolate, whichever you prefer.

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • parchment paper
  • baking sheet
  • Microwave

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by breaking pretzel sticks into bite-sized pieces, around 1-2 inches long, and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine creamy peanut butter with powdered sugar, stirring vigorously with a spatula until the mixture is smooth and thick.
  3. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the broken pretzels in the mixing bowl. Using a spatula or your hands, gently fold the pretzels into the mixture.
  4. Once the pretzels are coated, scoop out small portions of the mixture with your hands, using about 2 tablespoons per cluster.
  5. If you’d like an extra touch of sweetness, melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then drizzle the melted chocolate over the clusters.
  6. Refrigerate the baking sheet with your clusters for about 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.
  7. Once chilled, transfer clusters to an airtight container for storage.
