Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag or glass dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Clean and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Transfer chicken to a plate, cover loosely with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice the rested chicken and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
