  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently to ensure even distribution.
