- Begin by peeling and chopping sweet potatoes into chunks. Cook them in boiling water for 15-20 minutes until tender.
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl with butter, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and nutmeg.
