  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil can be omitted if out
For the Vegetables
  • 2 medium Carrots substitute with bell peppers or favorite veggies

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by greasing your slow cooker with cooking spray or a light coating of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ground ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts evenly into the greased slow cooker.
  4. Layer the sliced carrots (and any optional bell peppers) on top of the chicken.
  5. Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce evenly over the chicken and vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top, customizing the seasoning to your taste.
  7. Set the slow cooker to high for 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.
  8. Once cooking is complete, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker.
  9. Scoop your finished Honey Garlic Chicken onto plates or into bowls and garnish as desired.
