Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash three small oranges or tangelos under cool water. Slice each orange into ΒΌ-inch rounds.

  3. Reduce heat and add orange slices in a single layer. Simmer for 45–60 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove slices from syrup and place on a wire rack to air dry at room temperature for 24–48 hours.
  5. Roll dried orange slices in granulated sugar or dip in melted chocolate for added sweetness and presentation.
