  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and trim the spinach. In a large pot, bring 1 inch of water to a simmer. Add spinach, cover, and steam for 3-5 minutes until wilted. Drain and chop.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, then mix in cream cheese until melted and smooth. Cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  4. Add chopped spinach, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes over low heat.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
