Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Tray by lining it with greased wax paper.
- Melt the Caramels in a medium saucepan over low to medium heat for about 5–7 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Dip the Pears three-quarters of the way into the hot caramel, allowing excess caramel to drip back into the saucepan.
- Melt the Dark Chocolate gently using a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.
- Coat the bottom halves of each caramel-coated pear in melted dark chocolate, then press into chopped nuts.
- Return the chocolate-coated pears to the lined baking tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
