Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly under cold water, trim the stem ends, and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. For larger sprouts, slice them in half.
  2. Drizzle the Brussels sprouts with extra virgin olive oil in a large bowl. Mince the garlic and add it with a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Transfer the seasoned Brussels sprouts onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  4. Once roasted, remove from the oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top while they are still hot. Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
