- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth. Set aside.
- Pat the canned sardines dry and dip each into the egg wash, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

- Arrange sardines in the air fryer basket and spray tops with oil. Air fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
