Instructions for Orange Sherbet
- In a large mixing bowl, pour in the orange juice, followed by sugar, orange zest, salt, and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes until sugar dissolves.
- Gradually add milk and heavy cream to the mixture, gently whisking until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-frozen bowl of your ice cream maker and churn for 20–30 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the churned sherbet into a freezer-safe container, pressing plastic wrap onto the surface before securing the lid. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
