Preparation Steps
  1. In a saucepan, combine fresh blackberries and lemon juice over medium heat and mash them to create a puree. Cook for about 20 minutes.
  2. Optionally strain the blackberry puree using a fine-mesh strainer to remove seeds and let it cool completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Gradually mix in cooled blackberry puree.
  4. Slowly add powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing on low speed. Increase speed and beat until light, fluffy, and lavender in color.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract and adjust consistency with milk/cream as needed until spreadable yet holds its shape.
  6. Whip the mixture on medium-high speed for another 1-2 minutes until airy and fluffy, then use immediately or store.

Notes
