Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Skewers
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Open the cinnamon roll dough and separate it into 8 rectangles. Flatten each rectangle to about ¼ inch thick using a rolling pin.
  2. Place a generous dollop of cream cheese at the center of each flattened rectangle, followed by a few quarters of fresh strawberries. Roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges.
  3. Thread the rolled pieces onto wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  4. Place the assembled skewers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. While the skewers bake, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt until smooth.
  6. Remove the baked skewers from the oven and drizzle the prepared glaze over them. Let them rest for 2-3 minutes to allow the glaze to set.
  7. Serve warm, optionally sprinkling a little sea salt on top for enhanced sweetness.
